In a very few short words, how would you explain (on paper) DTP around the edges of cardstock to someone who doesn't know what it is or why you would do it? I'm thinking in terms of how it "defines" it, makes it pop, less boring, etc. whether you barely ink the edges or "age" it on top. I'm just not sure what terminology to use.
...and to think I used to not even like it! Now I do it to nearly EVERYTHING!!!!! LOL! :-)
TIA,

In saying "how" to do it, I'd say, "move the ink pad across the edge of the cardstock with quick strokes." To really understand it, I think it would be really helpful for them to see the finished product.

I'd also say that it helps differentiate between papers and that contributes to the dimension. When scrapping, I find that it really helps me put patterned paper next to one another -the DTP just makes it look better.
