Just had to post, I LOVE what I see in the gallery, but it is soooooo slow right now. I posted some comments and am still waiting for them to get through. Yikes!!!

Yeh Gallery is moving a bit slow - I just got my dirty dozen membership so waiting patiently for each page to come up.... probably cause there is so many ppl on?

I have been wondering if the slowness affects the images getting approved also. Does anyone know how that works? Last night I uploaded between 7pm and 8pm, but the images weren't approved until about 5am. Tonight I uploaded another card and it too is now still pending after a few hours. I know other times I have uploaded a card and had it approved in 15 minutes or so. Just curious as to how it works. One thing I know: I have found no other site that even comes close to SCS!!!! You can get help for any question you have and the inspiration is the BEST. So many very talented people. I will gladly put up with the slowness:-)

It's been painfully slow this evening. Just starting to ease up now and it's past my bedtime.
Photos are manually approved by Jenn and Beate who both live in Texas. So how long it takes for approval is dependent on the time of day or night and how much time they have to approve uploads. From what I undersatnd it's last in, first out (I think). I don't know how they keep up with it honestly!!! HTH.

Thanks Jami for the explanation. I don't know how they keep up either and I am sure it takes a lot of their time. At least I now know the slow site has nothing to do with it. I just thought it might. My hat is tipped to all of you who give so much time to make this such a great site. THANKS

It usually gets faster around 11 or 12 central time after all the east-coasters go off to bed.
When I saw this, I was said "Guess I won't be up for that"! But I ended up not being able to sleep so I got caught up a little bit! Wow, just about had the gallery to myself...well compared to the amount of visitors during the day!! LOL!
Very slow gallery, but I love what I see!
