Lightbulb Craft Shows

Just wondering how many have done craft shows and what did you do? I am planning on doing a craft show next month and thought I might get more ideas from others who have done them before. I plan on having SU books for sale and will make some projects for display. I will also have cards made up for sale and would like to do some sort of tag or something for them to try out products and take something home (with my info on it!). Thanks!

I'm not a demo so I'm not totally sure but I don't think you can sell catalogs and cards at the same time. You have to choose between being a demo or just selling any premade items.

It is my understanding that as long as the cards are shown to be done with SU products it was okay to sell them. Don't know why you wouldn't be able to sell the books and cards. I will give them a call today just because I am new and don't want to start doing things wrong from the start.

Hi Tidbits:

Are you a demo? If so, lauraos is right, you can't sell current catalogs AND your handmade crafts at the same time. You can either represent yourself as a crafter, or as a demonstrator, but not both at the same time. And if you sell cards/crafts, you must attach a stamp that satisfies the Angel Policy (like the personalized "handstamped by" stamps that they sell in the catalog) because the images are copyrighted.

Demo Support is VERY STRICT about what they allow you to do at craft fairs! When in doubt, check your demo manual or call DS. 1-800-STAMP-UP

Good luck at the fair, hope you sell lots of goodies!

I am a brand new SU demo ~ my kit will be here tomorrow! I haven't called SU yet, but will before the show. I do have the stamp that is required for the Angel Policy, just didn't know there would be a problem with selling the books too. Glad I posted, but I am sure I would have called them since I do weekly since I have signed up last month with the long delay for my kit. Thanks!
