Default Help find stamp and the name of this metal...

Can someone tell me what the metal is called in the background of this pack of stickers? It's the metal that you find used on motorcycles and I am trying to find that and a harley stamp for a b'day card.

I don't think trying to google bumpy metal stuff will cut it If you know of any places that sell fun/sarcastic/witty motorcycle stuff/saying please let me know

TIA

My dh, a mechanic is home today and he said the metal is called Diamond Plate. Here is an online vendor that sells it by the sheet:

Diamond Plate.

I really thing someone should make a background stamp using the pattern. it would be a cool background and a guy card.

Hahaha, I don't think Home Depot or an automotive store would have anything but the real thing, might be a bit heavy on a card.

I was wondering how you would use the background stamp to get a realistic effect and I like your idea. It would be a good background for scrapbooking for my guys even if just on gray paper though.

How about going to Home Depot. And taking a piece of paper and pencil with you......

Do a Rubbing of the Diamond Plate.

Just a thought??
