Default help cleaning...

I am usually a SU stamper and love thier stamps. But recently I went to a stamp show and "met" Dee Gruening and just fell in love with her work and how vibrant her stamped images were. So, I bought a few Halloween images. The ones that are rubber backed are great and I love them. The problem I'm having is with the CLEARLY POSH STAMPS. I can not get them clean. I have used just about everything imaginable. SU cleaner, baby wipes and even water but nothing cleans them. Does anyone use these tamps and have any suggestinons?

Are they actually still stamping ink off or are they just stained? The clear stamps will stain and there's nothing you can do about that -- it doesn't affect their ability to stamp nicely, they just don't look as pretty. That's just one of the bains of clear stamps.

A friend of mine told me this lil tip...use a tide spin brush (you know, the one for laundry stains? it's really soft and gentle) and a tiny bit of dish washing detergent! it works great!
hope this helps!

I haven't tried that particular brand of clear but if my clear get really stained I use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and it works really well, it will take even staz-on off

but wait, people...we are missing the excitement here. You actually MET Dee G.? wow, that's so cool! I watched her on Carol Duvall for years and man, nobody gets excitement going like Dee. And I agree, she is a very talented lady with some terrific stamps. Can't believe how often she uses markers for stamping....I'm far too lazy and go for the two step stampin' method personally but absolutely love some of her work! I know she sometimes seemed a little "over the top" but I loved her and miss seeing her and Carol Duvall on TV together. Jan

Mr. Clean Magic Eraser sounds like a must have. Where can I purchase one of these?

I bought mine at Wal-Mart, cleaning section, they come in a small box by the scrubbers. Cheap too!

I have a question? How does this affect your stamps?

Does it do anything to them?

I have never heard of using a Mr. Clean Magic on any stamps!
