Default Mixing Embossing powder . . .

Has any one ever mixed dazzling diamonds with white embossing powder. If so, how did it turn out. I'm using the solemn stillness tree and I wanted the top stamp to have a little sparkle along with the white snowy look. Will this work?

Sounds like a beautiful concept, but I'm wondering if clear ep might work better or maybe equal parts clear and white to and equal part of DD's. Would love to see your work after you try this.

I've done that. Just keep it in a separate jar.

I've done this too. Definately use white EP, or stamp with white craft ink. The clear EP mixed with Dazzling Diamonds and then applied with versamark does not show up as well. I love how it looks with white and DD. I have a few pictures showing the difference. I can point out which ones in my gallery if you need me too.

That would explain when I used vesamark and Dazzling Diamonds I could hardly see it. How much DD and white EP do you need to mix? Half and Half??

What about mixing the DD with Gold embossing powder? Anyone? I ask because in a swap I was in there was embossing done with what seemed like a shimmery gold - like maybe some kind of Irredescent Ice may have been used. Wish I could email the maker of the card, but no info was given...

You could also mix some Pearl Ex in for different effects ;)
