i've seens lots of gingham ribbon used in samples on this site and was wondering what your source is. since su! only has a few colors, i'm interested in getting some more. thanks!
I bought some at Wal-Mart this weekend. 12 feet for $1.88. They had olive green, black, baby blue, pink, and red. I think they had some more colors, but those were the ones I bought.
I get my ribbon from Archiver's, JoAnn's, Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Paper Source (a store, here in chicago, I think they have a website and they also have a great newsletter that I get in the mail). Hope that helps. I think Michael's and Joann's has the best supply.

I figured out the cost per foot of each and here is the breakdown:
Wal Mart Gingham: .1566 cents per foot
SU: .1544 cents per foot
They are amazingly close. Of course, with SU you can qualify for free hostess items and it counts toward you totals.
I bought some at Wal Mart just so I could try it out because I didn't think I was going to like it... but I do! So next time I will be ordering it from SU!
If you buy what they make now, they WILL add more colors because sales will figure greatly into whether or not to continue a product or increase the variety of it!

That said... Michael's has ribbon on sale this week for $1. I bought a bunch that is different from SU! My Michael's did have some gingham -- black and white, pink and white, turquoise and white.
HI! I like the SU black and white ribbon a lot...Joann Fabrics has some nice black and white ribbon... a little wider.....it's nice too..you can never have too much ribbon, or too many different kinds!!
Where do you get your gingham ribbon?
