Default How do you pronounce this?

You know the Coluzzle? What's the right way to pronounce that? I've always said it Col-oo-zzle but a friend of mine thinks it's Col-uh-zzle.

What do you think?

I think it's co-LUH-zuhl

-- kinda rhyming with puzzle

Default Tomatoes / To-mah-toes

Hmmmmm. She says to-may-toes, and he says to-mah-toes!
Here on our 'block' we call it a Col-oo-zzle, but.......
At least it beats trying to describe the plastic cutter thingy with the little swivel blade!

Smiles, TexasGrammy

I read somewhere to pronounce it like the ending of puzzle. So that's what I am doing.

Hugs and smiles.

I always pronounced it col-oo-zle, until I was talking to an owner of a local scrapbook store and she pronounced it col-uh-zle like puzzle, so I decided to start pronouncing it that way also. (I've had a few customers pronounce it that way too.) Even though I like col-oo-zle better I guess if ryhming it with puzzle is its correct sound as a demo I should try to be professional.

I've only heard it pronounced like rhyming with oozle (is that even a word?). Of course, since this is the first way I've heard it pronounced, then other ways sound foreign to me. Maybe someone could clear this up for us?

OK, just out of curiosity, I did a search on coluzzle and there is a web site called www.coluzzle.com, but it just directs you to another retail site. The site I was forwarded to didn't have an email address I could use to ask for help on this subject. I couldn't find anything on the 'net on how to properly pronounce the word. I guess it is just like Caribbean, it all depends on who you ask!

Ok - what is the coluzzle? I've seen it listed on some of the gallery descriptions and I haven't figured it out! Julie Ann

The Coluzzle is a cutting template system that is great for cutting various shapes. I bought mine last March and have used it quite often. One of my favorite stamping tools! You should go to Michael's or a similar craft store and check it out. It is great for creating windows for shaker and hair gel cards.
