is it cheaper to order online or go to the store? We don't have one close but may be going to Columbus next weekend. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and order online or wait until I go to the store. I need some ink pads and the ones I was looking at at Joann's are on sale online only.
I think maybe a lot would depend on the shipping/handling cost vs gasoline and the urgency. Why drive the distance to pay full price and/or to find out that the store doesn't have it? Joann's will have items that are only online and not in the store. They used to carry a fleece in the store that I always used for batting and now they only have it online which really ticks me off.
I'm not going to make a trip just to go to Joann's or Michael's. We'll probably be going to Columbus next weekend so I guess I'll wait until then instead of ordering online. I'm just sooo impatient! lol Probably good that I don't have a craft store close. I do need to get some coupons ready before I go. Now to make a list of what I want.....
Also, you need to take into consideration paying state tax on the in-store purchase. Some on-line stores don't charge state sales tax (at least not yet)
I don't usually make a trip to the craft store. I go there on my way for something or another and I always bring a coupon and buy things on sale/clearance. So to me it's cheaper going to the store.
