Talking Have you seen the Monogram letter magnets at Target? so cute...

This is TOO fun! I found these monogram magnets at Target $ spot, and knew I could make a card from it. (I'd been eyeing everyone's wonderful creations with the new Monogram stamps.) I picked "e" for an Easter card for my neice, Emily. I affixed the magnet with rubber cement, so hopefully she can take the magnet off of the card to keep. The green ribbon came on an amazon gift I received and I thought the color was good for the card. It didn't show up in the scan too well, but I promise, the color really does go. I cut the happy out with my exacto, as I printed it on my computer, along with the word easter.

I am still so new to all of this, and for little ole me, this is the best card I have ever done! Thanks for letting me share!

If you get a chance to pick up some of the magnets, you all will do wonders with them, I just know it. I can't wait to see!

Oh, and I meant to add that the monogram magnets from Target each come in a different color. The "e" is sort of an orange with a straw yellow polka dot, for example. They are SOO fun, and in our budgets!!

I saw them last night and it never occured to me to use them for a card. Great idea. I wonder if I could get some to use as templates for monograms. Much cheaper than the new SU stamps. I also really liked the other little magnets they had. I thought about getting some of them to use on cards.

I thought the same thing about the other little magnets, they were cute too.

I am going to stop back by target today and get a few more letters. I think I may make some for DD's friends for easter.

mcpaige - you beat me to it. I just posted a thread on these not seeing that there already was one. I didn't think about using the exact magnet. I thought about using them as a template so I can always have letters on hand. They will be fun to work with!!!!!!

Great minds think alike! Too funny! I am a Target $ spot fiend... always scoping out the prizes available. The entire store staff know me, and it's kind of like "Cheers" when I walk in... "Norm!" except they say, "Paige!"

LOL

Oh, and I like your tracing idea.

Ok I went back this morning and bought all the other letters they had.

These are the letters I have now:

a,b,c,d,e,h,i,j,k,l,m,n,p,r,s,t.

They either were out of the other letters or don't handle them.
