Default Have you noticed the Su catty is like a free color wheel?

Ok, I guess it's always been like this but seriously I never noticed untill this year... but I love that when you open the catty at any two page layout that ALL the samples are made in the same great color selection! And the color groupings are so awesome! It think it's great to see how you can make several unique themes and projects with one color theme! Plus it's so easy to be inspired this way... just pick a page and CASE the colors! I think I might even go through the catty and write them all down to keep them with my color wheel!

I DID go through last years catty and do this same thing. Everytime I found a card/page I liked I looked up the colors. Found I'm really drawn to certainly celery and apricot appeal..especially together.

I *love* that the catty is like that - even when it's not a combo I particularly care for it still looks *way* better to see it carried across the 2 pages!

I feel sort of spacey that I didn't notice last year was like that too... maybe I just like the color combos better this year.

The new colors and ribbon ROCK! I have a huge wishlist, and have already placed 3 seperate orders. I just keep finding things I have to get.
Stampin up has the best samples of anywhere I've seen-I have tons of marked pages with layouts I *have* to try.
I love that you will not only find ideas for EVERY set, but multiple ideas for them throughout the catalog.
Lets not forget to mention the new backgrounds and stamps sets at an affordable price.
I am so happy the crayons are now in color familes. SU really listens to what people think.
I can only imagine whats in store in the minis-

Seriously - love the colors b/c I am always stuck in BB so it's good for me to be constantly reminded there are more.

And there better be a really good Christmas set coming in the mini - I didn't see anything new I had to have in the catty!

I am thinking that I will be doing a lot of CASEing from this catalog.
LOVE the crisp lines and the color combos!!! The artisits at SU did a kick butt job at making beautiful cards that can be reproduced.

I just noticed it this year as well. I remember thinking that this is how Take Ten does their layouts. They have all different stamp companies on a page, but the colors are all similar on any given page. I really don't remember thinking that about previous catalogs. I guess I'll have to go back and look.

Last year's was the first time I've ever set out to CASE catty projects, but THIS year I know I'm going to be doing it a LOT more, lol! I agree with the streamlined comment....that's my favorite "look" these last couple of years! Is it any wonder I have a catalog in EVERY room in the house, lol? (Yes, in the bathroom, too!)

I agree! I think this year's samples are really good. Much better than previous catalogs. Lots of inspiration!

Too funny Betsy! When I start wandering around the house with a confused look on my face, DH automatically knows what I am looking for and will tell me where he last spotted my catty! I should have ordered a case just for placement in strategic locations around the house!
