DH Found A Solution For Wood Mounted Stamp Storage
When running out of storage space one day I decided to go up. . . up the wall!
My DH came up with the perfect solution. We went to Home Depot and he purchased several lengths of "Brick Molding" (originally used to trim doorways where brick is used). The molding is about 1-1/4 - 1-1/2 inches thick. My DH mounted them on my wall horizontally.
I am thrilled with the results. The molding is fairly inexpensive and there are several types to choose from.
What a guy! Take a look and maybe this will work for your needs too. Pictures in my gallery.
Hi Ladies. Thanks for looking. You need to double click the link and once you get to my gallery you will see a photo album of my mom's birthday. Scroll down just a bit, the two pictures are under her album.
That's a great idea! Do you remember about how much they were each? What lengths were they sold in? I'm not terribly familiar with those kinds of stores, so I always like to know a price point so I know if I'm looking at the right thing in the store.
I just looked at the pictures . That is a terrific idea!! . And you can cut the shelf length to fit your space.
Thanks for sharing.
Let us know what other great ideas your DH comes up with.

I cannot remember the exact total but I beleive it was like .75 cents per foot. But even if it was $1 per foot that is still a deal. They come in very long lengths and the store will cut it into the lengths you want for free - YaY! I beleive mine are about 8 feelt long. The one by mom door entrance is only about 4 feet long.
