I am a TAC demonstrator and got the catalog and Seminar last week. Obviously I think it's awesome! We have some great exclusive papers in the front of the catalog, but I especially LOVE the fact that each stamp set has either a card or scrapbook sample right next to it and the samples are SO cool!
We also have some extraodinary accessories including mini-scrapbooks in the catalog this year including a lunch pail scrapbook kit - how cool is that?!
Apparently my TAC catty went postal yesterday as well and I had the uberhoppin' fast prioty mail thing added to it....I just wish Johnny Depp would be the one to bring it to the door. *le sigh*

The new catalog is awesome! There are so many new great sets. My catalog has so many sticky notes in it marking the set that I like--I should just take them off because they are starting to get in my way. The papers are very cool too!
I can't wait to start seeing more samples with the new sets!
It's awesome! There are great samples and it makes it so much easier that they are right beside the stamp set! There are a ton of new baby sets! Although one downfall for me is they aren't spiral bound anymore although the reasoning I heard was because there was too much stuff in the catty to spiral bound it! Lots of Alphabet sets and some sets that are really similar to Hero Arts. You'll have a great time looking through it!

I would take your catalog to Kinkos or a printery and they will make it spiral for very little. I am a church organist and have done that with some of my books that will not stay open.

ah...that's a good comparison to Hero Arts. I love those new sets but didn't know how to describe them. And gotta love all those new alphabet sets, eh? I was disappointed when I heard that there wasn't anymore Basic Grey...but I have to admit that there are all of great new papers.
The pages themselves are stitched so they should be strong...for the cover we're just recommending that you use a bone folder to crease back the front and back at the scoring. So far, so good for me! But I hear spiral binding is not that expensive...

I had no problem with my catalog cover, I think they were shipped so fast from the printer last week they hadn't "set" and that's why there were problems with the ones demos got last friday & saturday.Mine came Monday and has been fine, even with me manhandling it already! The box of cattys i recieved was also fine. Soooo order away! lol! Kim
I had one of my catalogs spiral bound, also had clear front/back covers put on, it came up to $3
The only problem when the spine was cut, some of the prices that were closer to the center of the spine were also cut. :( Ill just use that catalog in my stamping area and I wouldnt have anymore spiral bound!
ETA:
Ive been reading about everyone having problems with the covers so I was expecting it when I received my catalogs So far I havent had any problems with them! :-D
I just got mine today from Allamericanstamper and it is great, I have a big wish list, I will have to do some budgeting to make it work with the new SU catty coming in a little bit.

Someone mentioned that some of TAC's new sets look like Hero Arts. I also wanted to add that there is a set that is very similar to the Rhonna Farrer stamps called "Deco Designs", specifically her Nature set (seen here). It is on page 52 and is a set of 8 for $11.95.
And, they have two sets (one is a hostess set) that look very similar to Stampendous! Garden & Window Box sets (seen here) called Hello Blocks (pg 109)--my personal favorite!
I'm thrilled with the catalog as well! The new papers are awesome - beyond what I'd hoped for. There are some fun new sets and awesome accessories. What more could you ask for???

I love that there are a few stamps sets that coordinate with some of the new patterned paper! Hope they come out with more sets like that in the Fall Supplement!
I am awaiting mine from allamericanstamper! I can't wait! Two cattys at the same time (SU and TAC)....I am going to need a good, solid budget!
Pace yourself!! It's always fun when a package arrives at the door!
Plus with TAC, just by spending $30, you'll get a free stamp and the opportunity to buy the specials and the Stamp of the Month (discounted from its retail price!).
I'll be getting mine at about 10 a.m. this morning. can't wait for it to come.

My back cover came 'unstuck' along the fold lines, but a couple of strategically-placed Glue Lines fixed it right up! I've been doing that with my SU! catalogs for awhile -- love those Glue Lines!
Happy trails....

Our Supplements have been different. They have been in paper copy (not glossy like SU's) twice a year...once in the Fall and again in the Spring. They have also been posted at The Angel Company's website once they were out.
The "have been" is key...who knows what to expect this year! Other than the Supplements themselves!
I got mine today.wow.did you see the 3 stamp sets that look like terrific tulips roses in winter and watercolor garden.a little differant but very close to SU's.
I love thier new paper line, the boy and girl dog tags ooohhh so cute!
they even have an 8x8 paper collection very cool.license plates.all the new stazeon color ink pads.and opague's.chalk inks in a lot of colors.spectrum pads lot of them.
I like the metal word too.wish they came in something that I could use them as more of a template with.

ME TOO! I have been thru it once and I have so many post-it notes I might as well have marked every page. This is the most awesome catalog - the papers (ahhhhhhhhhhh I'm in paper heaven) - and so many stamps and so many things... I want it all!!!! I just placed my order for the must haves from the SU catalog (before they retired)..... so.... gotta finagle (how do you spell finagle, phinagle... anyway) the budget a bit - I'm definatley going for a massive dollar amount (I'm scared just thinking about it!)....

I think it is great that they are doing SU look alikes. If SU would go unmounted I would go with them, but since they won't it is TAC all the way with these sets. I feel the same way about Cornish Heritage copying SU in unmounteds.

Definitely! If you do scrapbooking (or are even the least bit interested in getting started in it) as WELL as stamping and altered art - then this is the catty for you!!!!
This time of year is the best -- new catalogs from TAC and SU! Too exciting.
The new TACatalog is very nice; spiral binding would be nice but it's easy enough to have done at Staples.
Every year I just love the accessories that we carry -- this year is no exception. Lots of new papers and embellishments. My favorites are the Clip Ease dispensers -- sold in a set of 2, small and large, with sets of clips in each size available to order. Which I will do, soon.
My boyfriend nearly had a coronary when he saw my wishlist for the TAC catty....but you know, I want to go unmounted with ALL my stamps so I added all those supplies in too...
And 40 stamp sets isn't that much. *whistles innocently*
I have never seen a TAC catty but have just ordered mine from Chris.. I can't wait to see it. There seems to be more excitement over the TAC catty than the new SU catty. I sure hope the airmail is fast this week, Chris.
