Has anyone seen this???
Zazzle (kind of like cafepress) pulled some kind of deal with the USPS and can now issue real actual genuine postage stamps. So you just upload your design and you're done! Has anyone tried this yet?
It looks like they have one of those 3D barcode thingies on them so they can be scanned to verify that they're real stamps. http://www.zazzle.com/stamps/ |
I've seen it but I haven't tried it.

Wouldn't that be COOL
to use a picture of your baby on birth announcements/thank yous, or you and your new hubby on wedding announcements/thank-yous. Or if you had a cute picture of the person you were sending a birthday card too. OH! And Birthday Party Invites!
OH! Even your kids or family for Christmas Cards! How darling would that be?! FOR FUN! Thanks for sending this! I don't know why this just got me so excited, but it did! LOL ~Melanwee |
The prices are kinda expensive for a sheet, but if you have a special occaision like a wedding, shower etc.. it would be awesome!
Very personal touch! |
Photostamps.com does the same thing. I ordered a sheet with my son's picture. They turned out ADORABLE!!!

Are thier prices more reasonable? Or are we paying for the service of having custom stamps and just have to suck it up?
WOuld love to see your stamps if you have any around to show! |
One sheet of photo stamps including tax and everything was 19.98. You get 20 stamps per sheet. I guess we have to suck it up :)
If the batteries weren't dead in my digi camera I"d post a picture. Sorry. |

This is interesting to hear that it's still around. The USPS offered this service for a while, but were (I thought) going to discontinue it due to the threat of imitiations and inappropriate subject matter. Perhaps Zazzle has a better system?
