Default Craft Fair Questions

I think I posted this question in the wrong place this morning because I can't find it. I was wondering if you crafter used receipts at the craft fairs or does that take too long to do? Also I was wondering what you used for your change that worked out well for you. Thanks, Carol

I don't use recipes because people don't want to know. If they do, you can give them your email address to contact you. For the most part, people just want to buy a card or tin or tile.

Ok, I thought she was asking about "receipts" instead of "recipes". Which one are you asking about?

Are you attending as a crafter or a demo?

Have I mentioned that I do have my glasses on order and they will be here Tuesday. I guess I need them WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY more than I thought I did.

I keep things round priced and bring a TON of $1 bills. I don't use receipts because it's so much of a hassle. If it's not going to be high traffic, you can do receipts a lot easier than if you are going to one with high traffic and people who want to do that get in get out thing.

Default Craft Fairs-Receipts and Loose Change

I am selling my "hand-stamped" items so I am going as a crafter, not demo. I was talking about receipts. I think what I might do is bring the receipt book and that way if someone wants one I can do that. Carol

I'm going to do receipts at my craft fair next weekend. Since I have to collect sales tax I need a way to keep track of how much I need to report to the state. I will have a box full of change and bills to handle all the transactions.

I used a small printing calculator for my receipts and it worked fine and was quick too!

I think this would be the easiest thing to do. Then roll out an extra bit to stamp your name and contact info on.
