This Is Beth Warner's instructions that she wrote and created for the three nugget box's with the changes in measurement for two nuggets that i adjusted for you. Hope that you enjoy as much as I.
These adorable little boxes with a sleeve hold TWO little Hershey Nugget candy bars. You can make one from just a half of sheet of cardstock. ( The adjusted measurements actually let you make 2 out of one 81/2 x 11 sheet). They are very easy to make, but take care to measure and score accurately.
BOX:
- Cut the long side of a full sheet of cardstock at 4 . Set one piece aside for another project.
- With the other piece, cut a rectangle 5 by 3 for the box. Cut another rectangle 5 1/8 x 2 1/4 for the sleeve.
- Measure with a ruler and mark as indicated by the thin lines on the template. SCORE along these lines.
- Using scissors, CUT along the double solid lines indicated on the template. Cut and remove the squares that are gray.
- The box has a double walls on each side. Fold up one long edge. Tuck the side flaps next to the outer wall of the long side and adhere. Then fold the inner wall over the side flaps, and adhere. Repeat on the other long edge. Fold in the remaining side flaps and adhere.
SLEEVE:
Measure and mark with a ruler as indicated by the thin lines on the template. SCORE on these lines.
Fold the sleeve around the box and check for fit before adhering the flap.
Notes: I highly recommend making one of these from scrap paper before using cardstock, just to get the hang of it. I like to cut and score the sleeve before I stamp on it, so that I can accurately place the images. You can decorate the little nuggets by stamping on address labels and wrapping the label around the candy.
are the measurements for the sleeve on the 2 nugget box the same? I can't pull the picture up for some reason!!! If you could help me out that would be great!:p

Using Beth's directions, here are the measurements for a 2 nugget box:
For two nugget box
box-4-1/4 x 3 3/4
sleeve-5 1/8 x 2-1/16
score at 1/2, 1-1/8, 3-1/8, 3-3/4 along 3-3/4 side
score lines stay the same for sleeve as Beth directed.
I must be nugget box challenged. This seems to be missing some scoring on one side? I made a sample 3 nugget box..get it....but this 2 nugget box seems to be missing some measurements. Can anyone help?
Thanks
hi Anna,
I decided to play with the nugget info, and carefully measured my cs. It was ok for three, but not 2 nuggets. I tried it 3 times, and finally decided something wasn't printed in the instructions for the 2 nugget box. I then cut mine down, and will take it apart and measure to see what needs to be done. I was very frustrated with this, as usually I pick up instructions pretty quick.
Anyone know where the correct measurements are, or a template already before I post what I came up with?

Hi there...I tried with these measurements and it seemed to have worked. The sleeve is scored like it is on Barb's great directions. I finally (DUH) figured out that because the nuggets are always the same width, this scoring doesn't change. Maybe I am wrong though...LOL...lord knows I have been know to be wrong a lot. Try this size and see if it works.
Box: 4 x 3
Sleeve: 5 1/8 x 2 1/16
Score @ , 1 1/8, 3 1/8, 3 along the 4 side
Score sleeve same as instructions from Barb
Oh my gosh, no , I'm so sorry.
I was referring to me! I seriously tried that darn box 3 different times yesterday, and it was too big for two.I think I used the 5 1/4 measurement instead of 4 1/4 for the sides, so anyway....I'm going to go hide in my box with my chocolates,lol...

Not to worry! I knew you weren't calling me crazy...even though if you knew me you might very well call me that..LOL
Just felt like teasing ya!
Happy stamping!
BTW..aren't these darn boxes addictive? I've been making all kinds of sizes now...L
