My clear stamps are a mess. They are in a box and I never can seem to find what I want when I want it. Anyways I've been looking for a clear stamp binder to organize them. I found one by inkadinkado but wasn't to fond of the way it looked. Ive been thinking of just putting them in a sticker organizer but not sure.. How do you organize your clear stamps?
I keep my stamps on acetate sheets in binders and I number the acetate sheets. I stamp index sheets for each category the stamps fall into (ie christmas, animals, sentiments, etc) and keep the index sheets in a separate binder with the page #s the stamps are on.
I put mine in a 3-ring binder. Use half of a report cover to stick them on. Then slip that into a page protector. And if you want an image to see what is really on a page (clear is hard to see) Just stamp all the ones for a page one regular paper and insert it behind the plastic sheet that has the stamps on it.

Reason: typo
I have mine all over the place. Some are in a binder. Some are in a drawer. Most are in a stack on top of the binder. *sigh* I did buy a bunch of pocket pages to put the smaller stamps in. The pages you might use to store your CB dies.
Lynn! How do you keep your KSS plastic sleeves from ripping? I've just about given up keeping them in the original package.

What type of acetate sheets do you buy and where do you get them? Thanks!
After trying a number of different binders I have gone back to something similar to Lynn, but not quite as refined and organized yet! I like to keep my acrylics in their original packaging on the indexed sheets they come on. I didn't like them in binders because they were just too hard to find, and they never got back in the binder when used either. I currently have mine in a box like this sorted by brand. I also have some smaller boxes for the smaller acrylic sets, also by brand.
I have some in a binder on that "special" sheet, some in a CD case, some in plastic baskets organized by theme, and my SU stuff stays in its original container, and is filed in those photo boxes you can get for 50% off every so often at Hobby Lobby. Only problem is the larger ones stick up too far to put the lid on. The ones that are smaller, you can do that. With the sets label on thecontainer, you can see what you are looking for.

My clear stamps are in a box in not particular order right now. I've tried so many different things to organize them and just haven't been happy with anything. I need all of my storage of a particular thing to look the same - it's a major issue foe me when things are different. My life would be so much easier if every manufacturer of stamps made all of their stamp sets to be in the same sized package. Hey, a girl can hope!
The next thing I'm going to try is the new storage cases SU is using for it unmounted sets. I hope the clear stamps stick easily to these cases.

I know you didn't ask me but I got some from Flourishes: http://www.flourishes.org/servlet/th...d-Stock/Detail
$4.20 for 10 sheets. Free shipping over $65 I think. These are thick and sturdy. I use them to store my clear stamps on (the sets that came on flimsy sheets).

Billie Dee, I don't keep the plastic sleeves. I just keep the front and back sheets of acetate film and the paper cover with a tab added to the top.
I, too, am searching for a good storage solution. I currently have my acrylics and unmounted sets in baskets (sorted by company). The problem is I have no less than 300 - 350 sets. To purchase CD cases would cost a fortune. I also have a problem with the packaging falling apart when trying to put the sets back in, so most of mine are "loose".
At one time I found some cool binders at Hobby Lobby that would hold a set in each of the sleeves included. The problem there was that they only came with 24 sleeves and I couldn't find refills. They were 8" x 6". The binders are about 4" wide, so I would need 12-15 of those to hold my collection. I don't have room for that many 4" binders anywhere in my studio.
I'm thinking the person who invents a good/affordable storage solution for this type of stamp would make a killing! Maybe I need to get my thinking cap on!
Ihave been using the Iris Photo boxes...There are boxes in a holding box that can be stacked for storage...I get then at JoAnn's with my 40% off coupons...Just love them!

I use a Clip It Up so I can spin it around and see all of them easily. Just make sure to keep it our of direct sunlight and use the little protector pads.

I buy the acetate report covers from the office supply store. The are slightly larger than regular letter size - I think they are 8 3/4 x 11 1/4. They are nice thick acetate and I can also use them to make acetate cards. I got mine at Staples and they're about $30 for 50 sheets.
I too am in search of a better clear storage system. I too used(d) the clip it up but the stamps that aren't in their original packaging are causing me trouble - the ones I use alot sometimes fall off onto the floor - which I don't know about till I either go for the set and something is missing or I see it on the floor --
I am planning on ordering a clear mount set from the SU! mini and once I see what their DVD cases are like - I may order a bunch more for my other sets.
I want something that closes - I find over time I tear the original pkg.
I have also seriously considered the minibinder packaging at GinaK but the SU! dvd holders are way cheaper.
I store all my clear stamps and unmounted rubber stamps the same way.. in clear CD cases. I keep my CD cases in some nice CD boxes I got from Ikea. I get my CD cases from Rima.com. They're clear jewel cases and they come without the inserts. I love this system so far. It's worked well for me for about 3 years now.
