This is the first card I ever posted to SCS and I thought it was pretty good. I love cards with demension and movement and I thought this was a good first attemp, it was http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...puser=11449all non SU thought.

I don't know what the deal is. The cards I make but don't like as much seem to be the ones that get the comments! Ugh. Maybe my taste is warped!

My gallery gets very little comments. But after seeing cards that have 80 and 90 comments I can see why. My cards just aren't in the same category as some of these masterpieces. I guess I stick with plain and simple cards. I would never stick one of mine up here and say please look at this card though. I would feel embarassed. These cards are all very pretty.

I agree, I think if you like a card and especially if you plan to CASE it, you should let the person know what you liked about it or why it caught your eye.
The spent their time uploading it for all of us to share.
Plus I'm sure it motivates some stampers too.

I have tried to me more considerate about comments myself.

Oh, I'm so you all.... I have trouble linking more than one, so PLEASE, just check my gallery, and comment on any of the ones you want to. I know this TAKES TIME, and I believe that is why SO MANY are overlooked, so I have learned to *be happy* with the number of views. This, however, is a great thread, and thank you for starting it. I have to get ready and take by DH to his Dr appt 2 hrs away, but will check this thread and make comments later, like tonight!! (I hope for the time!!)

Diane..I commented on your door and wreath...I just loved it.I agree that there are some great cards that never get many comments. I don't get it. It seems like you have to be in a "click" or something to get alot of comments. I've made several myself that I thought should've gotten more comments as well! I try to make several comments a day on cards that I see that aren't getting many hits.

You should link them here, we'll comment. :)

I don't know about the "click" thing, but I will say that now that I have friends on the site, I get more comments. When I first started I got very few. It really helps to do the challenges as well. I do think the more people know you, the more they think, hmm she's nice, I think I'll check out her gallery.
