How about some Vows Renewal ideas?

Okay, my husband is in the Army and is moving to a new station. He'll be gone for at least a year unless he gets deployed to Iraq (which is a strong possibility). The boys and I are not moving with because of school (we have a junior and it just doesn't seem fair to move him now). We have a friend who is a judge and is going to do a vows renewal for us in our church chapel. I'd like to send out invitations to the few people that we are inviting. What could I do for the invites? What should I say on it? Any and all ideas are appreciated! Thank so much!

I made invites for a friend of mine who oringinally got married in high school and never had a ceremony. They looked just like wedding invites but said vow renewal on them instead. I wish I would have kept a copy but after making 120 I thought I'd never want to see them again. I dry embossed a large heart at the top with a border along the edges, and the bottom border was smaller hearts all the way across. I did the wording on the computer and mounted it on lovely lilac cardstock. I know it's kind of hard to visualize but she was happy with them.

We had our marriage blessed last year for our 10th anniversary. I made invitations from silver metallic cardstock and vellum. I ran the silver through the printer for the inside information. On the outside, I stamped Soft Swirls in VersaMark. Then overlaid on the front was the verse: For the memories of yesterday, For the happiness of today, For the promise of tomorrow. The words yesterday, today and tomorrow I handwrote in VersaMarker and embossed in silver. The rest was printed on the vellum on the computer. I attached the vellum to the front with silver brads. I'm attempting to attach my word documents with the verse and inside info. I'll try to add a copy of the actual invite when I find it.

here is what was on my invitations at our wedding and you could make some adjustments to make it work

This was on the out side of the invitation you could put on the second line something like ' I will remarry my Friend


on the inside was

in this woeld ow uncerainty and confusion, we two have found each other.....different yet alike. We have grown together in love and understanding.

please share in our happiness when we will be joined in marriage on
( such and such date at such and such time at such and such place.)
you know fill in this part with you date time and place.



and instead of joined in marriage you could put when we renew our vows.

I forgot that we had my daughter handing out scroll that were rolled up and had a ribbon tied around them.

the saying in is was
