This is an x-post, but I wanted to put it in here for max exposure as it pertains to the stamping community!
Hello ladies!!
My stamp club has decided to do our swaps a little differently this month so that we may benefit a local charity here in the Charlotte, NC area. It is called Birthday Blessings, and it was started by a local couple who wanted to provide birthday presents and classroom parties for homeless and underprivileged children in the area.

They serve ages 1-17, so they see a wide range of people. I called Amy, and I asked her if they were in need of any birthday cards for the children, and she says that most of the time, they just give the presents and not the cards. Well, for us cardmakers, that won't do! LOL!
So, the idea that we had is to make birthday cards to donate to this organization. You can make as many or as few as you would like, but we would like to have a range of ages and genders represented.
We thought that we would open this up to the splitcoast community to try and gather as many cards as possible.
Here is a breakdown of the genders/age ranges:
Girl 1-4
Girl 5-8
Girl 9-12
Girl 13-17
Boy 1-4
Boy 5-8
Boy 9-12
Boy 13-17
If you would like to participate, please reply by PM if you are interested. I'll send you my address and gather the cards at my home to then pass on to the organization. I hope that we can give Amy (the founder) a great big old stack of cards to give with these precious gifts!
Thanks so much!
Nancy
