It's only going to reach about 16 today with lots of wind. My dh and youngest son are at a cub scout sleepover at a battleship in Qunicy MA. This morning's activities include a cruise on Boston Harbor. Brrr...glad it's not me out there!
I hope to stamp this afternoon too. I shopped yesterday with my friend and have some new stamps and supplies to try out. First I have to get through laundry and errands though.
Well, I'm in Waukesha which isn't too far from you so we're sharing this freezing cold weather!! LOL!! I was hoping to stamp yesterday, but I wasn't feeling too good. Now today I need to catch up on all the things I didn't do yesterday (cleaning, laundry.....). Hopefully I can sneak off to my stamp area here & there
I am from Grand Rapids MI and it is very cold here too. I was hoping to stamp today, but I have a sick kid now. We got a lot of snow yesterday, so a great day to just stay inside.
I'm here in Chicago, and right now it is -5 with a wind chill of -26. Yikes...I have already informed the dh that I will be stamping today! (Well as much as the 3 yr old and 4 month old let me!!) I must say, though, I'm waiting more for the Superbowl commercials, too..but I am rooting for the Bears! (...but I'd rather see the Packers...);)
It's 17 degrees here in East Granby, CT. It's been a warm winter here so far, so 17 feels coooooold. We've got some friends coming over later to watch the Superbowl. The guys are going to watch the game, and we girls are going to have the Superbowl of cardmaking in the other room. We're really only interested in the game when the Patriots and cute Tom Brady are playing. But...if I have to pick: Go Bears!
A high of 9 today, with windchills from -10 to -20 through tomorrow in SW Ohio. Luckily all the gals are coming to my house for a SAS today. I've already got the space heater on in the basement. But, then it's over to a friend's house to watch Da Bears!!!!!!!!!

It's 10 here and feels like -7. I may do some stamping but my #1 project is to paint cabinets to make the base for my new stamping table. I'm excited to get it done but not excited to do the actual painting! Then I bought a 30" wide door to serve as the top. I'm going to stain and seal the door. That will take several coats of sealer my DH says so I don't think that will get done today.
It's not too warm in St. Louis, either, but at least the sun's out, so that at least gives the illusion of warmth. However, I'm staying in today - I've got my Crock Pot Chicken Tarragon on (see Dinner Challenge in this forum for recipe - Chris from Memphis really started something!), and yesterday was my birthday party, where I got some stamping goodies, so guess what I'll be doing until the Superbowl. Go, Colts!
My husband has looked at the weather channel at least ten times today to show me that it's not supposed to get above 0 (before factoring in the windchill).
I think he is in shock. We're Texans, and Iowa is just plain cold! (It wasn't nearly this cold when we lived in Ohio)
Weatherbug says it's-6 with a -28 wind chill here in Waukesha, and the crazy dog keeps wanting to go outside. Great day to stay in and stamp! I have some projects that need to be finished and today is the perfect day to sip hot cocoa and stamp! Stay warm everyone!
We've got a high of 2 this afternoon and tonights low -27!
I had to buy a little space heater for my stamp room. It gets cold in there with the temps this low!
well I live in misd Michigan and its 3 with the windchill of-17So I would say its definatly a stamping day. After we get our cookies out of the oven had to do something in the oven to keep my house a little warmer
Well, here in MD it is in the mid-20s, which for me is downright COLD! Gotta get a space heater for my craft room - it sure is difficult trying to stamp wrapped in a blanket!
In Savannah, GA the sky is blue and it is 57 degrees and it will probably get warmer. I have gone to church, eaten lunch, taken my son to work on his personal fitness merit badge, helped my daughter study for a test, and now it is time for me to relax in my craft room and stamp (if I can ever get away from Split Coast Stampers).
It's a balmy 18 here on the east coast. I went for a road trip to the scrapbooking store, spent an hour amongst the most gorgeous paper, and stickers, and chipboard, and stamps, did I say paper:-D . Now we are off to a friends to watch the game, while I would really like to be wrapping all my ribbon on ribbon cards...
Cleveland, Ohio here..it is bitter cold....-18 with the wind chill. I have been on this darn puter most of the day. I keep telling myself I should go upstairs and stamp, scrap, clean room etc etc but noooooooooooooo, I have to see what is going on.....
Bitter cold here in mid-Michigan and just got the call that there is no school tomorrow. I am soooo excited, because that means I can stay home and stamp!!!!

Wow, you have the right idea. My DH, BIL and SIL and I just got home from an overnight wine weekend up in Ohio's snowbelt and it was so cold, snowy and windy. Just got home to the Akron area and it's 4, wind chill is already
-15 and they have closed schools for tomorrow. Both girls are happy, my homemade chile is on the stove cooking and it's warm and toasty inside. What a perfect night for playing with paper and stamps!!!!!
It's been in the 20's here today. I was crafting too with the space heater on full blast. When I first went to the craft room this morning the dogs water bowl was frozen over. I had 2 heaters going in there to warm it up for a while before I went in!!!

What happened to global warming? My son goes to school in Waukesha and is bummed they didn't cancel classes because of the cold!! The schools here in the Chicago burbs have been canceled!
I got a chance to stamp on Sunday before going out to our friends house for Super Bowl party.. Here in Aurora IL. it was -12 Wind chill don't know.
I just know it was Super Cold ..
But our temps were worst on Saturday night as the winds howled all day long.
Dh and I did manage to get out for the evening but it was very cold too.
this morning when dh was leaving for work at 5 am it was -15 below and our high today is only 4 above.
And I think I heard somewhere that we are getting Snow tomorrow!!
Where in Waukesha does your son go to school??? Many of the Waukesha County schools are closed, including Mukwonago which is where my son goes. Yay!!
Slight hi-jack here........But I like Mukwonago!!!
for one year while my sister's dh was going to Nashotah
Episcopal Seminary.
My sister and I would run around the area looking for fun places to explore and shop.
I really like the area!!!
I think I've got you all beat.... tonight it's dropping to -37 (celsius) here that's -34.6 Fahrenheit and that's WITHOUT the windchill. This is why I scrapbook and make cards, it's too cold to go outside!
