Idea for scrap storage

I have very limited space and have been overwhelmed by figuring out storage. I just bought a plastic coupon holder for very small scraps.
Then at Walgreen's I found what is called an expanding checkbook file - about 4x10 so it would be for the business type checks. Last week they were priced at 2 for 1. Am hoping this will work for sorting larger scraps by size and color. Should save time digging through my zipper bags. Love all the ideas every one is always sharing.

I have plastic 3 drawer things from Walmart to hold all my scraps. They work great!

I stash my scraps in the cello bags (large) I got from SU. I have them sorted by color families. The bags hold all sizes of scraps. I don't throw out anything bigger than 1.5 x 1.5.

I'm using that type of file for my scraps and I LOVE it! I got mine at Target. What I really love is that when it's expanded it stands up by itself and I have really easy access to my scraps, and I save 'em all!

I used to do the gallon size plastic bags but went to the plastic accordian file with 5 tabs. Before the first tab i put my neutrals, next browns/yellow/rust, next blues, next greens, next pink/reds, last is purples. It really works great for 1/4 size sheets and smaller. I take half size sheets and just put them together in a zip baggie and always use those first before cutting into a full sheet.
