Glycerin???

I read in a thread how some stampers recommend putting a drop or two of glycerin in simple green to condition the stamps when cleaning them. I went to two drugstores and nobody knew where this was, in fact, they had never heard of it. Could someone take a picture of it and post it so I know what I am looking for? Also what store and what department would really help me out. Thanks! :-) LM

I found glycerin at a local CVS, it comes in a small brown bottle (sorry, I don't have a picture of it) and I found it in the lotion section. I hope this helps. It really is a versatile product, you can also make blender pen refill using it.

Good luck!

I've found glycerin in the cake decorating sections of A.C. Moore, JoAnn's, and Michaels. I guess it's used in some frostings or fondants.

I asked the pharmacist at 2 diff. Wal-Mart's. Both have it in their drug dept. 1st one was sold out but 2nd one did have it.
FYI.. someone here said to buy the Rosewater Glycerin.. dunno where to get it, seems like she said at a health food store. They posted this after I'd bought mine. She said it smells just like the SU! stamp cleaner.

CVS is a drug store chain - it's one of the biggest in the country, but I think it's presence is biggest on the east coast.

You can get glycerine at natural food stores, that's where I got mine.

I got mine at the pharmacy section of target, I think he had it behind the counter.

Cool, thanks for the thread. I have some cake glycerine, so I'll give it a try!

I picked mine up at Costco's pharmacy.

I bought glycerin at WalMart. It was on the shelves by the alcohol (rubbing :) ) and hydro.peroxide. HTH.

The only place I've been able to find glycerine is in a health food store. It's usually found by either the vitamins or health care items.

I once went to Walgreens pharmacy and they would have had to special order a bottle, but that's after looking through their catalog to learn what it was--sheesh!
