Glossy glossy....
I'm in a rut with my glossy paper. I only do crayon resist on it.
Soooo, what do you do with your glossy paper?? What fab things am I missing out on?? |

oh yeah, I do know/use faux linen. I'll have to open that document, cool!
|
Love the brayer and Kaleidacolor (Spectrum for you SU demos) pads. I did a bunch of wolves for deelite. I'll check out that attachment Cindy gave us. I haven't tried polished stone or faux linen, but I want to.
|
Versamark Resist also fun!
|
I do the polished stone, I have accidentally done the shaving cream on glossy and it still turned out, wax paper resist is my favorite.
|
dude, polished stone is way too much of a PITA for mamak and I! Faux linen rocks though!
|
Versamark resist
Rubber cement resist the one with the cotton balls & alcohol & re-inkers |
I did soot stamping with my clubs last month. We have it at my house, which made me feel better about letting them play with an open flame. They LOVED it! I used the church stamp from Silent Night on it, and it looked like an old tin-type photo. Very cool!

I'm loving faux linen!

Thanks to those of you who provided great links that describe various uses of the glossy. You're super!

Are there instructions anywhere for faux linen? I found faux leather...
|
I was going to ask how to do faux linen, but then I found this other thread. It has a couple of links to different techniques! One is just faux techniques and the other is a 106 page Word document that has sooooo many techniques.
Here is the thread and the links are at post #18 and 19. Have fun playing! http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...ad.php?t=85077 |
