Default My first card class that I hosted

As I posted before I was going to do a card class for our Senior citizen group and also for church members.

Saturday I held a card class for the church member's first, just to see what improvements I might need to make for a larger group. I had 5 members participate. My 15 year old granddaughter helped me.

I decided to make a simple birthday card and a hello card. I cut and folded the card-stock, then we had a layer of card-stock and paper that I had cut. I cut out a die cut with my big shot and had several stamps that they could choose for the sayings. I had die-cut cupcakes for the birthday card and die-cut bird for the hello card. I supplied ribbon, buttons and each got a glue runner. Everything was in baggies. It went really well. Although I scratch my idea of sending home cards to make

Next time I will make sure that all of the paper is the same pattern, because some wanted someone else's pattern paper!

Sounds like fun!
One way to deal with the 'I want her paper' issue is to let people trade. Otherwise, let them know it's luck of the draw, tell them where they can get the paper to make more just like that.
Sometimes it's just not worth it to try to have DSP the same for everybody. Especially in a large group - it's easier to have a variety. Or have a couple extra pieces in different patterns that they can trade.

Does that make any sense?

Thanks for the tip, I am certainly going to use it.

I have been to dozens and dozens of SU card classes and yes, the dsp is always the luck of the draw!

I say let people get used that and you will not have to buy double the paper.
