Default Glitter window question

When doing the glitter window technique with the packing tape-- do you always stamp your image INSIDE the card, and then the window on the front cover, or do you sometimes just do the window and the image all on the card front?

TIA!
Sarah

Sarah-

I think you can do it however you want. When the window is stamped on the card front and the image inside, it's so you can look thru the window and see the image inside.

But I've done the technique with punched-out shapes that had no image behind them; at the last workshop I was at, we punched a party hat in the flap of an envelope and did the glitter window technique with that and there was no image behind it.

Mostly, just have fun. Sometimes you come up with some really neat effects when you do a technique the "wrong" way!

my feeling is if you stamp it on the packing tape itself you won't be able to see it once you did the glitter on it. I have always done it below like these:
Glitter Birthday
Gift From Heaven Glitter

Or just stamped out the shape, like this:
Disney Train Thank You
