Default Glitter or Glitter glue?

Which do you use?
Why do you use one over another?

I have lots of glitter glue and never saw the need for fine glitter and a glue pen.
It just seems like the same thing and doubling up on products.
Am I missing something?

TIA -

I like glitter. I make a mess with glitter glue.

Right now I use glitter glue because I don't have access to glitter. It seems to work fine for what I need.

I use Dazzling Diamonds glitter because I like the way it looks better than my glitter glue.

I use both. Glitter glue takes more time to dry but can give you great effects.

I've never used glitter glue, but I love my dazzling diamonds glitter and can't imagine anything looking as pretty!

It depends on what I am using it for. I have like 50 different colors of the Art Institute Glitter which I make window cards and love it. Also I made lace backgrounds with it using tacky paper and lace on top of it pour glitter over it and walahhh. Seen that at a convention. I store all my glitter in Glad Sandwich containers and a plastic spoon for easy access and less mess.

I also have every color of stickles cause i love them too. Sometimes when I don't want the hassle of messing with glitter i use these which work great but a diff look IMO.

I also recently been using the dazzling diamonds which I love too...

I prefer the 2-way glue and dazzling dimonds. It's dry instantly. Whenever I use glitter glue it seems to smear before it drys, or go on too thick. It's great for my kid's projects though!

I have both and use both. I do however think the 2 way liquid glue and dazzling diamonds have a better look!

I use both. If I'm highlighting an area or need a dot here and there, glitter glue works well. If I want to stamp using glitter (stamps like Word Play), I use heat n stick with glitter. If I'm highlighting snow hills then I use monoaqua with dazzling diamonds.

I use both, altho I tend toward the glitter glue because it is less messy. Glitter glue is also dimensional if you want a raised effect.

I used to have tons of glitter glue.........back in the 80's and early 90's. THEN, I am not sure if the glitter glue was the same or not but I didn't like it. Went on too thick and separated. The gold and silver even went bad on me. Plain ol' glitter never goes bad no matter how long it sits and I can always get new glue cheap so I vote for
glitter & glue

Dazzling diamonds is the best! I use it with the 2-way glue pen and it ROCKS

I prefer glitter and a glue pen....I seem to have more control over it. I also like to use it with heat and stick powder.

How do you use the 2 way glue? I seemed to be very unsuccessful with the glitter. Either I make a mess every where or they turned out to be funny when I put 2 way glue on the card and the glitter appeared as dot and not spread evenly. Do you apply the 2 way glue on the card and then just smear it around the card?

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts.

I guess I'll just stick w/ the glitter glue - only b/c I have so much of it!!!
I'd have to start all over and buy every color glitter that existed!

Thanks again.

I use glitter. It dries way quicker! And it never dries up if you don't use it. And I have the CTMH glitter stack that comes in a bunch of colors too.
