I need to unmount some cling stamps because the cling got messed up and needs to be replaced. How do I get the rubber off the cling foam? There are index stickers on these stamps if it makes any difference. They are from Hero Arts.
Thanks.

Are you trying to get them down to bare rubber? I just work a fingernail between the rubber and the foam to get started, then peel it off. If there's any glue/foam residue left, you can usually rub/roll it off with your thumb or finger...
You can try putting them in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds to soften up the glue. If that doesn't work, then putting them in the freezer overnight might work. Adhesives don't like the cold.
Yes, several stamps in the set got stuck to a panel (a heat issue I only today noticed - last summer was my first in this studio and it needs AC, it got blazingly hot in the afternoons), and the stickers peeled off the back of the stamps when I removed them, but only the printed layer - there is still something covering the cling foam so no stick. I guess I could just put some Aleens Tack on them.
I can't peel the cling off. I'll try the microwave and then the freezer I guess. Thanks.

A lesson to all - high heat and cling stamps do not mix. Besides this issue, I also had several brand new BG stamps (bought at the beginning of the summer, stuck to polycarbonate panels and never used) get stuck. I managed to get them off without damaging the cling (one stamp looks a bit chewed) but it was a drag.
