glassy glaze enamel?
 

what is this for? all I have is, i think something like ultrafine embossing powder that is suppose to show detail, but i like the look of some of the cards in the gallery where the embossed image looks, well 'beefy' for lack of a better word =)
is that what this stuff does? make the image you are embossing more raised??

It is a coarse grind clear EP--used to create dense/thick layers on projects and results in an effect that resemble glass, etc. Usually takes 3 layers of this EP to achieve. *very* cool. :cool:

do three layers of the glassy glaze and then freeze it for 10 minutes. Then after that you if you bend your image in different ways it looks like craxked glass. Fun!

Is there a tip for making it clear...when I tried it came out where I could barely see the design underneath. Did I not heat it enough?

Keep experimenting. It should definitely come out clear.

This product is Stampin' Up's version of UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel), and if you do a web search you should be able to find heaps of tips and tricks for using it.

I personally love to use it with Versamark and the Beautiful Batik set with gable green and turquoise ink and paper.
