Anette, I just did a search on the net for you and came up with nothing. Do you have a local Stamping store near you? If so They might be able to find some for you and order them right away so that you would have it in time to make your cards.

Thank you for your help with this. I did search online as well and could not find anything. I will check with my local store and see if they can help me. I never thought about that.

I know you're looking for German Christmas stamps, but thought you might be interested in these as well: I bought a set of German saying stamps (Thank You, birthday, etc). They are the clear stamps & made by Dee Gruenig. You can purchase them at Sunday International for $15.00.
Listed as: Posh Impressions Clear Stamp Set - German Set.

No, I don't know but would be interested to find out. I posted on the French thread that I've searched many times and can't find good German stamps.

Does anyone know if SU can make personalized stamps in German? I know you can get address stamps, but maybe they would be able to print something like Frohe Weihnachten or Alles Gute zum Geburtstag instead?? It shouldn't really matter if they print "Jane Doe" or "Frohe Weihnachten" I think. (I might have to call them about that to find out if nobody here knows)

hi Anette,
welcome to the board.
you will love it here.

iam from Germany Stuttgart area. I checked last year on my visit to Germany some craft stores and noticed that it is quite hard to find nice stamps plus they are very expensive. i hope su will come out with at least one set where we could find sayings i multipe european languages.

i thought it would not only neat for europeans living in the states also for americans who have taken a trip to europe. we could use them in scrapbooks.

I've thought the exact same thing about SU. After searching and searching for stamps in Italian that say simple things (i.e. grazie, mille grazie), I've discovered that I will just have to have them made. I can find some that say "Ciao", but that just isn't what I'm looking for.

Have you considered having your own stamps made? If you can't find what you want on the sites previously mentioned, you may need to have stamps made. I know I've seen threads on SCS before discussing different companies that make stamps. I haven't tried to make my own yet, but that is always an option if you simply cannot find what you're looking for elsewhere.

I know TAC makes personalized stamps but only in certain fonts. I want "pretty" stamps, aber das ist doch eine klasse Idee!

I just got an email back from SU,

Quote:

Also, in regard to the personalized stamps, you may have sentiments and sayings printed on them, assuming they are within the character guidelines. In addition, your sentiment should be possible, as long as there are not any special characters associated with the saying
.

The fonts are on page 198 in the new catty, but it is kind of pricey for just one stamp

Default German Stamps

I found a couple of foreign stamps on www.sellorubberstamps.com. They had a nice Christmas and Birthday stamp. You have to order them with snail mail but I ordered them. They are $6 each.
