gamsol technique...help!
Does anyone know what the gamsol technique is? How do you do it? I posted a link to a card in the gallery that says it uses this technique.

GAMSOL is Pure Odorless Mineral Spirits!
Some directions on how to use it, if your scroll down to the middle of the page: http://www.sanford-artedventures.com...gimbel_mp.html |
and if you're "stumped" on where to find stumps (sorry...), I see them in the aisle in Michaels where you buy "artists" paintbrushes, on the opposite wall from the brushes. Hope that makes sense....

Are prismacolor pencils the same as SU's pure colored pencils?
|
If not, where does one buy prisma color pencils? I didn't see them at Michaels.
|
Yes, our pure color pencils are just about the same and can also be used with Gamsol. Prismacolor pencils are sold individually or be sets at Michaels. I don't think AC Moore carries them but they carry Derwent which is another great line. Just make sure that they say Studio. You don't want to accidently buy their watercolor line it won't work with the Gamsol.

Oops
Sorry, I made a mistake you can get Prismacolor Pencils at AC Moore too.

You Can get the pencils at Michaels- They are usually locked up and are in the paint /art supply section. We generally hang out in the craft, rubberstamp and scrapbook sections.
