Hi out there,I need some help? I have to make something for a Kris Kringle party and I have no idea what to make or where to post this. the value is no more then $10 for each gift apparently I have to make about 8-10 gifts. I have never done anything like this .I dont have a clue.I am getting a headache already.I am one of those people who likes practical things people can use not dust collectors. Thanks you in advance. You could make desktop post-it note holders. Get plain, clear, acrylic picture frames. The kind that are just bent at the bottom to stand up and are just sort of "folded" over themselves so all you do is slip a picture in between the two layers of acrylic. Get either 3 x 5 or 4 x6.

Instead of a picture you stamp a piece of paper to fit in the space and then attach a pad of post-it notes to the top, maybe in a bright color to match the ink you use on your stamped piece. Or instead of post it notes you could attach a mini calendar. The whole thing sits on the desktop at angle, kind of like a keyboard for a computer would. Hope this makes sense. I made these a few a years ago, but don't have picture of one. I'll go look in the gallery see if I can find what I am talking about.

Altered composition notebooks are also fun (with a matching pen). I bet you can still find them on sale right now!

The acrylic memo holders are super cute! I may have to make a few...
A few more ideas:
The blue links are to pics/info here on SCS, the purple ones are to my blog and/or gallery. I've attached pics of the dry-erase calendar, the desk organizer, and the altered wooden purse sets. There are LOTS of other fantastic ideas (look in the "resources" section, click on "projects") with galleries and everything! Hope you find something that works for you!

I've done "emergency card kits" made 6-12 cards with all occasions, like, get well bday sympathy, thinking of you, blank, decorated matching envelopes, added some postage stamps and put it in a cello bag with a cute matching header that reads "ready to go in case of emergency"

Another idea is to get the paper mache ornaments and use designer paper and embellies to decorate them. I made them as gifts and they can be very classy. I often use designed gift wrap and tissue paper. Wish I had on to show you, but they are all boxed up in the attic!
