Default ? About Altered Spiral Notebooks...

I'm wondering how the colored cardstock is in under the spiral part of the notebook?? Are you taking the spiral off or do you have your own spiraling machine?

I just take the spiralling off, attach c/s to the front of the notebook, punch holes in it (if you do it with your c/s upside down you can see the original holes so you don't mispunch) then run the spiral thing back through. It's a bit of a pain, but not too much!! Or, you can just attach your c/s on the front, leaving the holes alone (original cover) and then put ribbons and stuff on the spirals to disguise the seam.
HTH!

Tear out a sheet of notebook paper and lay it over the cardstock for a template. Mark where each hole is, then punch with 1/16" dia. hole punch and cut a slit from the edge of the paper into each hole. Then you can tape down your cardstock on the cover and slip the slit holes over the spirals. Works great.
