How do I PM someone?

I am having a mental moment. I totally forgot how to PM someone. I have tried to search for it, but I am not getting any answers. Can anyone tell me how? Thanks so much.

You click on their name and click on send personal message...is that what you mean? That's the only way I know how to do it.

There are probably other ways to send a pm, but here is how I do it. Find a post from the person you want to send the pm to. Click on their name on the left under their avatar. A drop down menu appears that says send a private message to....

Then the message box appears.

That's the easiest way, replying from a post. But if you want to send it to several people, just go to your Inbox (click on the envelope beside your username at the top right of the screen) and in the box down the left there's an option for Send New Message. If you don't type too quickly, after you've typed a few characters a drop-down list of names appears and you can select from that, or you can just type the name yourself. For sending to several people use a ; and space in between each name.
