Submitting cards for publication

I could swear I just posted a thread a little bit ago with this title, but for the life of me, I don't know where it went......can't imagine it got deleted for anything, but you never know. I'll try again, just in case I did something wrong the first time....

I am finally submitting four cards to a stamping publication!!!! AHHHH! But I have one question for those of you that have done this before. How should I mail my cards? Should I box them up so they don't get bent? I was planning on using a padded envelope, is that enough?

I think a padded envelope should be enough. Maybe write "do not bend" on the outside, although since it wouldn't be going to a person, but a publication, it shouldn't end up stuffed in a mailbox.

I would mail them in a photo mailer as opposed to a padded envelope. The cardboard is more likely to keep your cards from being bent.

I am just super anal about stuff like this. I would want to be sure they arrived in the best way possible so I would send them Priority Mail in the smallest Priority box. The box is free and there is no bending possible. It only costs $4.05 plus $.50 for delivery confirmation. If you buy your priority label through usps.com or paypal you get delivery confirmation for free. Good luck with your submission! :-)
