Question foam stamps on transparent Sheet?

Has anyone used these? I just was gifted one and am a bit curious about them.. if you have used them... do you like them?

Not as much as the "regular" foam stamps. IMO the foam on these seems stiffer . . . . kind of tricky to get a good impression. Also, be VERY careful 'cause the transparent part likes to crack. I learned that the hard way!

Thanks for responding!
Hmm... very interesting. I would hate a cracked stamp! I was wonder about how they stamp. What medium are you stamping with? Dye Ink, Paint, Pigment Ink? I know I hate using paint with my nice rubber stamps.

Whenever I've used the foam stamps, I've found it's best to use paint or craft ink. Of course that means you have to really clean them after the use. I'm not really a fan of the foam on the transparent sheet, I find it hard to get a really good grip.

I most often stamp with ink (either dye or craft) and usually have not had a problem getting a nice impression from regular foam stamps -- the clear-backed ones have been a different story though. I checked mine out again today and the foam is noticably stiffer so I wonder if it's that it doesn't hold the ink as well? They stamp ok with paint though. I find that I don't use them nearly as much as other foam stamps.
