Default Foam mounted stamps

I have a few of SU's old foam mounted stamp sets....
I am wondering if there is a way to trim and remount them onto wood blocks??? TIA for ANY help

I haven't tried this personally, but you might try easing an exacto knife between the rubber and the foam and separating the two, trimming out the image closely, then mounting the rubber separately (no foam/cushion) directly onto wood blocks?

I recall some preferred to mount the rubber onto stamping cushion and then trim out again, and then mount to wood blocks? If you don't have access to stamping cushion, you might try substituting fun foam, but I cannot attest to the success of the aforementioned as I've never actually done it myself . . .

I am assuming that to adhere any of the layers, rubber cement would be the adhesive of choice?

I'm flyin' by the seat of my pants here?

Wink

You can buy the red cushion that has the adhesive on both sides. Do a google search. If you need blocks let me know I've got lots.

Obviously, Julie, you're flyin' straight! I have done exactly what you've described and it does work. If you already have cushion on hand use that. If you don't just go to Michael's and get a sheet of fun foam. I used to glue 2 layers of it together, glue on the rubber die and trim around it. If you don't have rubber cement, Crystal Effects would work too.
