Smile Please! Need help finding altoid tins!!

Hi everyone,

I am having a bridal shower for my future SIL. I want to decorate Altoid tins for favors but I just don't know where to find them. Any suggestions? The shower is in less than 3 weeks. I can get them done, but need to know where to buy the tins. I am doing 40!!!

Thanks in advance for your help! I don't post much, but I LOVE everyone's projects! So many talented people!

Thanks again!
Stacie

Default Altoids tins

I've seen them at Target, & Walmart. You might even check Costco or another wherehouse store to buy in bullk. Sorry I can't help you more.

I have no idea what they can do for shipping but Specialty Bottle carries them.

Actually... it is for a set of three. They say there are six pieces because the lids aren't connected. (I was just going to post this info and have the catalog open.) The item number is LQ-65/90056.

Don't forget to check the candy aisle at your grocery store too. I can't for the life of me remember how much the pack of three or four Altoid tins go for... Are you looking specifically for the Altoid tins with the mints inside or just the tins?

Wow! The tins at Specialty Bottle are inexpensive!! Only .64 each with the hinged lid. WOW!

Hmmm.... I wonder what I could use these for....... (Dang! this site is an enabler for me.)

There's a gallery full of great ideas to use the Altoid tins for: Altoid Tins & Similar Boxes by Layersofink at Splitcoaststampers

It's easier to alter them when they are the plain ones like the ones from speciality bottle. Especially if you have 40 of them to do. Unless of course you actually want the mints in them!

Ya know.......they would be about $1 or less each if you get the Altoids at Costco......just dump the candy out into bowls and serve at the event. Two things for the price of one and no shipping and quick delivery.
