Default what adhesive to use on baby bootie

i am making some of the paper baby booties for a friends baby shower...i had to make 30, i cut them out, and used mono to tape together..now 99% of the booties are coming undone!!! it would be really time consuming to go back and put double stick tape as i would have to cut small pieces for the notches. anyone have anything that works??

p.s.
I did put more mono on, pressed hard even, and they STILL come undone...any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I just tried the redline tape today at my demos for the first time. That stuff is heavy duty sticky!! She said it's for things that you really want to stick. It's a double sided tape, she gets hers online. We were using it on boxes and it really seemed to work well.

oooohh..more info please.
I made a card for my SS last night using mono and within 2hrs it was coming apart. SUCKED. I'm starting to hate mono. I'm volunteering/challenging you to start a thread about your "fave adhesive". I'm starting to hate mono!!!

My mono has been acting up lately too, I wonder if it's the humidity?

Sticky Strip! That stuff will hold my 5 yr old on the wall, well not really. But it's strong stuff.

I thought I was doing something wrong! I made a card last week and before I could mail it, it came apart. Maybe it is the humidity - it was humid last week!
