Flocking

Hello all!

I was just at M's and I could not help but notice all the pretty glitter for flocking. And then I thought to myself...what the heck is flocking? After some research online I have utterly failed to understand the concept.

I am hoping you brilliant ladies could shed some light.

Thank you!

Hmmm. I've always seen glitter and flocking as two different things. Flocking is the soft fuzzy stuff you stick down on cards to make them look all furry - like brown on a teddy bear or yellow on an Easter chick. I can't imagine a glittery flocked bear, lol.

I use flocking -white with No glitter for the hedgies from penny black. Hedgies with fuzzy white tummy are cute. I have not seen flocking with glitter.

Our Craft Lounge has sparkly fluff. Its flocking with glitter in it.

I have seen both, but only used them individually... I don't see why you couldn't mix your own flock and glitter...
