Flocking
What is the most successful way one has used SU Whisper White Stampin' Flock? Once I used heat on it and it looked horrible, like gray in colour....I want to 'flock' some snowmen and I want them 'white and flocky'.:)

Mine works well in small patches - meaning when you're covering a small area. Since you want to do snowmen, you probably have a larger area than I've been successfuly with. Mabye you could use something thicker than the regular glue (like tacky glue) to get more flock to stick? Also, have you tried the look of liquid applique? After you heat it, pull the poofy part off and it leaves the base and looks kind of furry or like suede. That might work better than flocking a large area.

Ive always used a glue pen with fun flock, I pour the flock on and then press it down, and then shake off the excess, that usually gives it a light furry look and not clumpy ;)

I've used it on good sized areas with Yes glue. I just pour it on like embossing powder and shake off the extra and then pat it down a snitch. I've never heated it. But mine is not SU flocking...it's just regular flocking but it's a probably the same. Good luck!

I am pretty sure the SU flock is the same as the regular flock that you can get in stores. I never heat my flock. I guess if you were using heat and stick with it you would want to do that, but I just used regular 2 way glue and put the glue on, sprinkled the flock on, let it set for a few minutes, then dumped off the excess, after I dumped off the excess I gently pressed down on the flock to make it stick better

Thanks gals for your help...I'm heading in to try it.....I appreciate all of your 'expertise'..
