Default Fixing stamps

I have several sets that need to be remounted after being retrimmed. I have tried microwaving the blocks to soften the glue but everytime I peel the stamp off the block the glue sticks to the block and then I can't reattach the stamp to the block after I trim it as there is no sticky on the foam!

Any ideas? Some sets have been mounted for a while, others were mounted in the last few months.

These are for a customer who bought them off the bay.

Thanks,
aNg

Sometime The glue stays with the block. Try using a high quality glue, like gorilla glue and just gluing back on the block once and for all. That's what I do.

I've remounted a number of stamps I've bought used. I just use thick white glue to glue them back in place and none of them have come loose.

any type of heavy use glue will work well...gorilla glue...E6000...the solvent glues really stick well...only use a thin coat though otherwise it gets gloppy.

Heck, I don't even use a seperate glue. I just stick the rubber back down on the glue that stayed on the block. LOL So far so good! Nothing's come up yet!
