Halloween and Christmas won't fit on the same block, though...one of them is too long. A couple other pairs may have length probelms, too. Check before you mount!
I posted a question about this the other day and only received one reply. Was wondering what everyone is doing with those stamps! Just won mine from achieving Stampin Start and I don't want to ruin them by mounting them the wrong way.
I DO appreciate your input!!!

I took this list from another thread listed here on SCS. I do not remember who posted it, but she made an awesome list on how she mounted her set. I did mine the same way and then printed the list and included it in the box with the stamp set. It makes it quick and easy to find the word I am looking for.
First, before you do anything else, scan or make at least 2 copies of the sticker sheet. No, really, go do that.
Now, you'll notice that one set of words is longer than the other (generally speaking). The long words need to go on the top of the blocks, the short words go on the ends (I think up to 5 letters will fit). This becomes very important...
Next, I'd suggest that you write on one of your copies a word from the short list below the word on the long list you think it goes with best. Cross it off the short list. If you use pencil, you can erase as needed.
Once you're happy with the matchings, start mounting. Keep in mind that this is a set of 56 (!!!) so it may take a while, but the cuts are all straight, so it's more monotonous than difficult.
On your other copy, write in pen the words that are on the same blocks. Fold the paper and put it in the box with your stamps.
Here are the words I paired together (choose ones that make sense to you...):
(from the short list)
all-together
and-&
baby-mother
best-friend
boy-brother
day-Christmas
for-family
fun-birthday
girl-sister
good-father
happy-Halloween
laugh-. . .
little-wish
your-{
just-thanks
son-daughter
stamp-special
dream-imagine
fall-*
sweet-summer
joy-!
i just started mounting mine today before i read the thread, and all i did so far is get the stickers on, but make sure you have the longer words paired w/ short words so the long word can fit on the "regular" sides of the block.
also, i was thinking, how would i find the words i want if they're mounted on the side? just from looking at the stamps i'd have to check each one to which words were mounted on the sides, so i made a grid and printed it. then i'm going to stamp the 2 words in each grid, the "main" word will be stamped in black, and the word on the side will be stamped in blue or whatever. then if i'm looking for a word that is side-mounted, i can find that block by the "main" word. does that make sense?
i was thinking about keeping a copy of the stickers in the case, but that still won'thelp me find which word is on which block, so i think my grid thing will work perfectly. i can just look for the word i wwant, and if it's a side mounted one, just look for the other word that it's mounted w/ much more easily if they're stamped in pairs.
I haven't started mounting mine yet. But, one of the best suggestions I've received was to put BOTH of the stickers on top, and then put a Sharpie dot next to the short word that appears on the side. That way you can easily see all of the words without having to think about which word is on the side, or even having a printout to look at. If I were to do it this way, I'm not sure that it matters too much on what the pairing is. Just that there is a short word with a long word.
I keep hoping that if I procrastinate long enough that the stamping fairies will come and do it for me. They must be really busy, because nothing has happened yet!

These are some great suggestions. I was doing mine earlier this week and surprisingly have 1/2 done. I'm hoping that the remainder work out (good suggestion of copying the stickers and predetermining what you want together!)
I love the xls- idea and plan to copy something similar and put it on the box top inside( maybe with the words on both sides so while I'm working with them I don't have to flip the lid and when I' m looking at my stamps for inspiration or if we have the word its right there, hey I just htought of that, I like it keehee). I may number my blocks with a sharpie- not sure if this is what the other gals did, but it would seem like they would stay in easier order this way without having to constantly be looking to the chart for guidance. Aren't we grateful for the slotted cases!!
Also, I noticed that they have put less foam thickness on these. This gives them far more stability than I have with my alphabets, I'm very happy with this. (I used this narrower foam as double stick dimensionals for the spinner card workshop I did recently, it worked well...I'm far too frugal (you can read that as cheap if you want))
I love this set's potential, but, I think someone else mentioned~ its almost overwhelming what to do with it. I'm looking forward to the amazing artists here to show the way!!
thanks for asking the question, I never thought to do that, and thanks for the ideas,
