Default religious/inspirational/scripture sentiments

Hello.
I've had a request for some more religious cards from my customers.
What are your favourite companies for these types of sentiments ? I know verve does some, and there is a set i'm eyeing from TE.

Any other options out there ?

ANd would anyone be interested in a Inspirational/REligious sentiment swap ? I could organize it and we'd get a variety of these sentiments without spending a ton of $$

Verve, but you've already mentioned that.

Default Christian stamps, Bible verses, etc.

QKR Stampede Rubber Stamps

The link above is for Biblical Impressions. They have really nice stamps. I have a number of them and love them.

QKR, Biblical Impressions and Eureka are all inter-related. Good suggestion. Great images as well as sentiments.

Sweet n' Sassy - a 2-page section called "Christian"

Flourishes may be worth checking out, I think I've seen some verses there.

Verve and ODBD, as mentioned.

There are lots out there; I find that many companies have categories along the lines of inspirational/encouragement/etc. which often end up including Biblical scriptures and sentiments.

I have found many I like on ODBD (like everyone above). SU has some stamps with beautiful verses. Also, Mark's Finest Papers and Gina K. Designs. Good luck in your search!

I have recently purchased digital images for a much more reasonable price then,
then wood mounts for inspriational sentiments or scripture verses. A lot of times,
I do scripture in my own computer genrated verse. Here is the sweet n sassy, someone else also mentioned:
Digital Stamps - Scripture - Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
I have windows Xp and have figured out how to downsize downloaded images;
without buying a special program

Clear Dollar Stamps has a large selection of scripture stamps. Even better yet, they are quite reasonable and the owner is extremely nice and helpful.

I'd be interested in a scripture sentiment swap. If you end up putting one together let me know! I have a few of SU's retired Scripture sets.

I could do a scripture swap; as long as it is stamped and not computer generated.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm so picky about the typeface of some sentiments. It seems that the religious ones tend to be so flowery and elegant and serious looking, when sometimes I want a typeface that's a little more modern or whimsical.

A few years back, I found some sentiments from Uptown Rubber Stamps called Holly Pond Hill (artist Susan Wheeler). I still love this typeface, and would love to find more like them, but haven't had any success so far.

Maybe I should just start using my computer more often!

Although I have several scripture stamps I print the majority of mine using the computer and cut them out with my Nestabilities to add to my cards. Saves alot of money and I am not limited to the stamps I can find.

I just wanted to share this card by bfinlay for anyone who didn't get to see it in the gallery. She printed her own scripture verse from the computer, and I think it looks adorable! (I love the typeface she chose...it just matches the images perfectly!)

I have gotten several sheets of christian theme stamps from I Brake for Stamps. I also love several that I got from a company called Eureka.

I used to always post an angel theme card on sundays on my blog (I have a category just for "Angels" on my Labels listing). Another thing I often use is those vellum theme booklets from DCWV, they sell those at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, they usually have them with biblical quotes and they work great on cards.

Cheers, Holley

Clear Dollar Stamps has a great selection of scriptures and Christian sentiments. Prices and customer service are great too. Lori, the owner, is a wonderful person to deal with.
