Do pop dots come all the same thickness or are there some that are a little thinner? I am lovin' these, I love that they give my card dimention but there are times when I want to pop twice and that is just a little too high for me. Is there such a thing as too much pop? How do you get a happy medium? For instance, the Triple Treat Flower stamp from SU...I would love to pop both the 5 petal flower AND the 1/2" circle but I think that is too high. What do y'all think?

Never an issue unless you are worried about mailing your creation. You can stack your dots which I often do when using the paper tole effect. It allows you to create several levels with your components. Have fun.
There are definitely different thickness of foam dots and foam tape available, depending where you get them. But I've sometimes used up to four layers with a medium thick dot and not worried about it - so I think just two is definitely not too high .
I have pop dots in 1/16" and 1/8" thicknesses, as well as foam tape that is 1/16" thick. I use the thinner tape and dots when I'm doing multiple layers, the thicker ones when I want something to really pop.
I keep any scraps of chipboard and use them instead of pop dots if I can't find the thickness I want or I have ran out before in the middle of a project.( should that be run out?) I like the pop dots from SU the very best. They are thin but what I like is the paper peels off easily. Great quality.
