I am usually non political, upbeat and light hearted, however, after watching the news covering the funeral of the Texas police officer who was gunned down I have to comment. My beautiful son who just turned 20 is a police cadet planning on becoming an officer after he finishes college. He graduated high school with a 4.75 GPA and made Dean’s list during his first year at the University of California, Irvine. He can become anything he wants to be…..and he has chosen to become a cop because he cares and wants to make a better world. Please support our men in blue…. There are a few bad people in all professions, but these are the exceptions. “Forgive the few if ill of us they speak, for we are all that stand between the monsters and the weak”.
