Default Design question

Hi, I've just joined this Site recently and have a question. If I see a card design that I love, can I adapt it and use it for my own card? Would I be infringing on someone's creation and have that person mad at me? I don't want to ruffle any feathers here! Thanks for educating me. ;)

I believe it's "Case-ing" a card. I've seen several cards "cased" and giving credit to the person they "cased" it from.....linking the original card to your post.

So does that mean I make the card, then post a photo of it on here, giving credit to the original designer? What does Case mean? Sorry for all the dumb questions.

Not a dumb question!

CASE - Copy and Share Everything.

Adapt away, majority of people would be honoured that you thought their work good enough to 'case' - the only time some people get a bit prickily is if you copy it exactly, and it gets published in a magazine etc and you claim it as your own.

Thanks Jukie, for that explanation. Now to get busy without my husband seeing what I'm doing!
