Default Favorite butterfly stamp

I am trying to find a cool looking butterfly stamp and wanted to see what your favorites were. If you could include what company they are from that would be great!

I don't know what kind of butterfly you're looking for, but I've been eyeing up these ones that will be released March 15 by Papertrey Ink. Nichole is giving a sneak peak (one per day) of this new set. Here's her blog with some samples. And here's the website where you buy it starting Mar 15.

SU has a really neat stippled butterfly. My other favorite is from Magenta.

I personally like realistic butterfly images, and I adore these sheets from Starving Artistamps:

Can't wait to see Nichole's full set! I just may break down and get last month and this month's! I used to favor the realisitic ones like in Wonderful Wings, but now prefer whimsical fun ones, add 2 step to the mixture, and I am sold!

I love the Butterfly of Happiness set from SU. With a few exceptions, I pretty much like all butterfly stamps!

My favorite(s) were in the wonderful wings set from SU! They are retired, but there are a few on eBay...

(Of course they toss in a dragon fly just for fun!)

Don't know if it is my favorite, but I just made some cards today with SU's retired Ageless Adornment. Of course, I decided I wanted it after it retired, so it is from eBay. There are lots of samples in the gallery, and it is lovely with versamark and chalk. It is more of a realistic look, though, not really "cool", though that could also depend upon your definition!

I LOVE the Boho Buzz set from Technique Tuesday (there are 3 neat cards done in the current issue of "Stamp It" magazine in the article "Stamp It Three Ways"). I don't have this set yet. I bought the last one at my LSS for my best friend's Christmas gift & they haven't gotten it back in again. I also love the butterfly collage-type stamps from Stampington & Co. I got the one I used on this card on sale at my LSS two weeks ago:Polished Butterfly

You can see the other butterfly stamps from Stampington on their website (www.stampington.com)

My fav is the retired SU stipple butterfly...search for it in the gallery. Beautiful and life like image...not cartoon-ish. (Is that a real word?)

I love the angle of this one here: http:////www.splitcoaststampers.com/...8&ppuser=17703 by Jim Stephan (www.jimstephan.net) - I don't think it's in his online catalog.

I am having so much fun with this. Thank you. I have one set that has a little butterfly on it, but I saw a card that someone made and there was a beautiful butterfly on it. So that got me thinking that I must have a few to add to the numerous stamps sitting in my craft area. Keep the ideas coming. I also can't decide if I like realistic or more retro. I may have to get a couple of both hehee.

LOL you should be able to get a set - I don't exactly know how many there will be in stock but Nichole did say that **IF** they sold out they would get more in in 2-3 (or was it 4??) weeks or so and that if someone ordered when they were out they wouldn't get charged etc etc etc.

For those interested check out THIS post Nichole made on her blog earlier today - about halfway down she talks abotu the set and whatnot.

Bless Nichole for kicking this set off at 12 EST...that is 9 pm for me here on the West Coast. For once, it works in my favor! I'm sure there will be a flood, but I know Nichole will do everything in her power to make sure you get a set, too!

I think TAC has some really nice looking Butterfly stamps.

Flutter by, Swirly Wings, Asian Butterfly and Beautiful Butterfly.
You could look at them online. They are under products: Stamps: Then look for bugs and butteflies.

If you look in my gallery you will some cards made with Flutter by.
My gallery here on SCS is listed below in my signature line.
