Thumbs up I normally hate glue sticks but...

Have you tried the Avery Disappearing Color glue stick? It actually seems to work. And it says it's acid free and photo safe. And at 4 sticks for 1.99 at Staples I'll be buying more.

Our stamp camps usually have 100 plus people which means a lot of adheasive or glue sticks. I hate it when the demos have glue sticks cuz I usually get to spot that the last person went wild with a glue stick at. This stuff you can see till it dries, it's purple.

Anyone else used it? Like it? Had problems later on down the road?

I haven't tried it but my kids do have a few in their craft bin so I'll have to give them a try Thanks for reminding me that they are acid free

Good to know! I go through so much Mono all by myself with all the swaps I do (and I am currently making 120 wedding invitations). One of my friends here on SCS actually posted a thread asking about the SU one, and I'll tell her what you said about the Avery one. Thanks. - Gay Howe

I've used it on crafts and projects in the classroom, and I love that it dries clear. I have to admit I was a doubter at first!

I'm still a fan of my little red Duck adhesive runner, but I'd imagine the glue sticks would work out splendidly for card making (especially mounting the tiny parts!).

The little red duck adhesive runner is what I was using and it has gotten where it just won't stick. I sang it's praises at first. Here lately I can't seem to get anything to stick. Maybe it's the humidity - I'm in Tennessee. But the Avery ones that I got at Staples does the job!

I use both as mentioned by two of tou--the Avery stick and the red duck. In fact I use my coupons at Joanns to get the red duck pkg. Maggie
