Father's Day projects?
I am the creative activities coordinator for my MOPS group. We want to make something for Father's Day. It needs to be about $3 or less for supplies. It doesn't have to be a paper craft, but I certainly own quite a few supplies that will bring the cost down... :)
Any tips or suggestions? Thank you, |
You could stamp on a tumbled tile (I get mine at Lowe's). The tiles cost about 70 cents each and the little gold stand I put them on costs 57 cents at Wal mart. I have them somewhere in my gallery if you want to look. I use StazOn ink, so if you don't have that, you just need a pad or two.

picture frames! alter the wooden ones you can get at Mike's with masculine designer paper. You can use letters (die-cut, stickers) to label it with dad(dy) and me, love you dad!, etc. and maybe have some sort of embellishments to add to it. I can make an entire frame in less than an hour including painting the edges and it looks really nice.

Idea for Father's Day
For Valentine's one year, our MOPS group filled small plastic tool boxes from the dollar store for our hubbies. We filled candy bags and stamped the tags for them; we also made "love♥coupons" and stamped those as well. Maybe you could modify this idea to suit Father's Day. HTH.

One of the funniest ideas I've seen is D'ADvil...a decorated pill container filled with M&Ms (because the pills container is small it doesn't take a ton of candy).
